A Practical Deceleration Control Method, Prototype Implementation and Test Verification for Rail Vehicles

Currently, the theoretical braking force control mode, characterized by actual deceleration as an unstable open-loop output, is most widely used brake mode in trains. To overcome shortcomings of non-deceleration modes, a proposed to realize closed-loop train deceleration. First, algorithm based on parameter estimation was derived. Then, software logic designed existing system meet engineering requirements. Finally, verified through ground combination test bench with real equipment and pneumatic brakes. The results show that can make accurately track target presence disturbances, such uncertain pad friction coefficients, line ramps, vehicle loads feedback errors, well their combined effects, does not affect original performance system. average relatively stable, error instantaneous smaller.
